She was predeceased by: her parents, Buell Gilbert and Clara Bell Smith Ford; her husband William Reed Rittenberry; her son Russell Richard Reed; and her daughter-in-law Wilma Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Reed (Ruby), Harry Reed (Carolyn), Jackie Reed, Lillie Gordon (Harold) and Gail Williams; and her daughter-in-law Betty Reed. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Old Lasea Church of Christ or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
