With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Dorris Childress (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Livie Childress and Joanna Marlin Childress; and his daughter Rita Vey Childress. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Locke Childress; and his children, Lisa Rowland (Dale), Lorenda Maddox (Mark) and Duane Childress. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; numerous Nieces and Nephews.
