He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Burns, Kevin Burns and Sylvia Burns; his grandchildren, Alexis, Anthony, Kayla, Kayden, Kaiona, Travez and Karlecia; his siblings, Mary Leach (Eugene), Norma Cannon, Rose Nevils (LeRoy), Bernice Sanford (George), Betty Burns, William Burns (Beatrice) and Michael Burns; his siblings-in-law, Sadie Forest, Willie Mai Hardmon, Leroy, Michael, Howard and Harry Walker; and his nephews, Jeffrey Patton, Vermaine Burns and Lamont Whitsey. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
