He is survived by: his siblings, Sheron Dotson (Jesse, Jr.), Shelia Shepherd (Ron) and S. Davis Turner (Phyllis); his foster brother Randall Shaw; his sons, Rico Burns, Kevin Burns, Jr., Tavar Britton and Travokias Britton (Beth); his aunts, Johnnie Brooks, Betty Jean Turner and Gwendolyn Lucas; his great-aunt Emma Bell Groves (Jim Thomas); his uncles, William Turner (Carolyn) and Uel Lucas (Brenda); and his niece Jessica Johnson (Ron). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
