It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Wooten of Franklin, Tennessee, born in Parkin, Arkansas, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Clifford and Dot Morton Wooten; and his siblings, A. C. Wooten, John D. Wooten, Cecil Wooten, Robert Wooten, Essie Simpson and Mable Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Faye Person Wooten; his children, Byron Wooten (Jane) of Gates, Mark Wooten of Chapel Hill, Tennessee and Sondra Warner (Darrell) of Franklin, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sandy Wooten, Michael Wooten (Mari), Christopher Wooten (Rachel) and David Warner; and his great grandchildren, Keala Wooten, Jack Wooten and Ren Swan Wooten.
