With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sallie Reffegee (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away on November 30, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sallie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sallie. Though Sallie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her son Ronald Reffegee (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Justin Reffegee, Jaron Reffegee and Bradley Reffegee; her sister Diane Carothers (James); and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Wall, Annie Mae Frierson (Andrew) and Fulton Lee Patton (Mary). She is also survived by nieces; nephews, cousins and many friends.
The lying in state was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (1408 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Limestone Baptist Church (1613 W Main St, Franklin, TN 37064).
