It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Stem Rivers of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene White and Cleo Crafton White; her former husband Thomas Everett Stem; and her brothers, Presley White and Roy White.
She is survived by: her husband Buck Rivers; her children, Tandy Stem (Tina), Vickie Barker (Tracy), Jeff Stem (Dawn), Mike White (Dawn) and Maribeth Byrd (Troy); her grandchildren, Brian Beasley (Shannon), Jeff Woods (Christi), Jeremy Adkins (Tracy), Justin Stem, Casey Blair (Charlie), Chris, Cody Brown, Jessica Plymal (Dwayne), Brandon White, Lindsey Barker, Grady, Macy and Evan White; her children, Mason and Makinna Byrd; and her sisters, Betty Ambrose, Janice McGee (Walter) and Carolyn Dye. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cowles Chapel United Methodist Church.
