He was predeceased by: his mother Janet; and his stepmother Jo Lynn Gibson. He is survived by: his father George Gibson of Union City; his spouse Tracey Gibson (Bullion); his daughter Kelsey; his son-in-law Jeremy Meyer of Murfreesboro; his son Cory; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Gibson of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Bhodie Meyer of Murfreesboro, Leah Meyer of Murfreesboro and Drew Meyer of Murfreesboro; his siblings, Keri Coburn (Steve) of Cookeville, Melissa Hutson (Bryan) of Troy, Nami Watson (Darryl) of Murray, Kentucky and Brian Gibson of Obion; his parents-in-law, Bobby "Bob Bo" and Ann Bullion of Obion; and his family Rusty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
