She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Tallent and Neva Tallent; and her siblings, Marvin Tallent, Maxine Hitch and Willa Mae Kirkland.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lawson Smith, Devin Walker and Jordin Carlton. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Pat Summitt Foundation.
