He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald L. Humphrey and Louise Humphrey of Nashville; his wife Patsy J. Humphrey; and his son William E. Cantrell, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Donna Hammond (John) and Robert Dale Humphrey (Gloria); his grandchildren, Leigh Cantrell Finney, Katie Cantrell, Rob Humphrey and Mary Humphrey; and his sister Sarah Carter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
