It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Jane Hassell of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Autry Harris Hassell; and her mother Virginia Mae Cartwright. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Reed (Kimberly) and Jimmy Hassell; her grandchildren, Timothy Reed, Amanda Nevers (Mark) and Clint Hassell; her great grandchildren, Timothy Jacob Reed, Sylas Nunn, Amelia Nevers, Monroe Nevers, Louvin Nevers, Kennedy Isabelle Reed and Elijah Hudson Reed; and her friends, Linda Jean Woodside, Wilma Reed and Vicki Lynn Jones.
Memorials may be made in Rebecca's memory to Tennessee School for the Blind.
