She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Robert Henry Shaughnessy; her sons, Robert (Susan) of Washington, DC, Thomas of Nashville and Christopher of Lexington, KY; her siblings, John Houlihan of Chicago, IL and Mary Ellen Horrell of Dunedin, FL.; her grandchildren, Emma Shaughnessy of Washington, DC, Henry Shaughnessy of Washington, DC and Maximilian Shaughnessy of Richmond, KY; her niece Kathleen Spayer of Sugar Grove, IL; and her nephew David Horrell of Brentwood. She was also cherished by three great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or to St. Matthew Catholic Church.".
