It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ottie Reynolds Pewitt (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alston and Jennie D. Forehand Reynolds; her husband Elbert Houston Pewitt; and her son Anthony Pewitt (Tony). She is survived by: her children, Jim Pewitt (Terry) and Mary Pewitt Earnest; her daughter-in-law Sue Warden Pewitt; her grandchildren, John Pewitt, Jr., Laurie Warden (Rick), Jennie McAdams (Jeff) and Mary Ashlin Hodges (Chuck); and her friend Gail Valorani. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Gardens (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
