She was predeceased by: her parents, James Urban Stewart and Margaret Harrell Stewart; and her sister Cheryl Stewart Skantz (Conrad Skantz). She is survived by: her brother James Nolen Stewart (Carolyn Stewart); her husband Daniel Burge; and her children, Gina Wells Bawcom (Mark Bawcom), Lynda Wells Bolan (William "Bill" Bolan), Cody L. Wells (Judy Wells) and Candice Wells Burge.
