She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Otis Dennis, Sr. and Annie Mae Polson; her husband Dr. Harold Paul Gerrish, Sr. (Hurricane Hal); her daughter Melanie Ann Vaughn; and her brother Roy Otis Dennis, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Sherry Kay Dennis; her children, Harold Paul Gerrish, Jr. (Melissa) and Merry Robin Davis (Jeff); her son-in-law Trace Vaughn; her grandchildren, Kailey Ann Martin (Daniel), Kristine Ina Daniel (AJ), Daniel Patrick (Olivia), Nathan Zachary, Merry Eren Davis and Harold Paul Gerrish, III; her stepgranddaughter Alexandra Crownover McClure (Matt); her great grandchildren, Anniston Murphy, Archie James Daniel, Melina Ann and Maizie Jo Martin; and her nieces and nephews, Robert Lake (Donna), Danielle DiMaggio (Jordan), Ryan Lake, Denyse Lake, Jeff Dennis, Lynda Martin (Guy), Holly and Thomas Martin.
