She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Fox and Mary Hughes Fox; her husband Monroe Boren; her daughter Teresa Boren; and her siblings, Roy Fox, William Fox, Zelma Ahart, Stella Farmer, Mavis May, Hilda Luffman, Linda Henderson, Norma Jean Fox and Eva Fox.

She is survived by: her son Jeffery Wayne Boren; her daughter-in-law Leigh-Ann Boren; her granddaughters, Zoë Boren Skaggs (Chance) and Melea Boren; her great grandchildren, Greyson and Slayden Skaggs; and her sister Bettie Joy Earon.
