He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Frances McLemore; his parents, Maria McLemore and Herman McLemore; and his siblings, Robert McLemore, Tracy Morton and Annie McLemore.
He is survived by: his children, Herman (Maria McLemore), Frances Elaine McLemore, Katita McCullough and Reginald McLemore; his grandchildren, La-Tara Washington, Kardrell Haynes and JaQuita Fields (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Taryc, Leilani Washington, Jonathan II, Jalayna Fields and Nakia Haynes; his siblings, Susie Johnson, Delores Nelvins (John), Thelma Sydnor and Howard McLemore (Shirley); his sister-in-law Emma Jane Perkins; and his friends, Dewitt, Annette McGowan, Diane Roberts, Carissa Reynolds, Laddus Buford, William Carter and Michael Matthews. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Clayborne Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church (147 Trinity Rd, Franklin, TN 37067).
