It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Carrington Mangrum (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carrington and Carrie Carrington; her husband William "Shorty" Mangrum; her son Christopher Dale; and her siblings, Lou Edith Carrington, Esther Carrington, Patra Mays, Johnny Carrington and Lee Carrington.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Tolley, Chuck Wilson (Lori), Patricia Wooley and Jackie Dotson; and her sister Marie Rieves. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
