He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Marcum; his children, Micah LeDaniel Sauter (Dusty) of Franklin, TN and Matthew Landon Marcum (Olivia) of Knoxville, TN; his brother Mearle Lynn Marcum of Oneida, TN; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Sloan Sauter of Franklin, TN, Lillian and Maeven Marcum of Knoxville, TN.
