It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Whitley McKay (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Leonard McKay; her parents, Allison Jesse and Fannie Lou Caldwell Whitley; and her siblings, Ellis Whitley, Leslie Whitley, Earl Whitley, Corrine Ormes, Alline Whitley and Cynthia Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert McKay (Beth), Janet Shappley (Zach) and Anita McKay; her grandchildren, Zachary Shappley (Grace), Cameron Shappley (Madalyn), Mason Shappley, Jessica Guinn (Ricky) and Jennifer Baldwin; and her great grandchildren, Charles Blair, Allie Blair and Shelby Blair.
Memorials may be made to Heritage Church of Christ or Alive Hospice.
