We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2023, at the age of 89, Joe Steele Petty of Franklin, Tennessee, born in Carthage, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Petty and Electa Petty; his former wife Olamae Alford Petty; and his brothers, Rob Neal Petty, Victor T. Petty, Dr. Gordon Petty and Ray Petty.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Petty; his daughter Tammy Petty Brewer; his grandson Edward Grayson Brewer (Jennifer); and his stepchildren, Sandra Arevalos, Rhonda Palenske, Linda Sasieta and Stephen Palenske.
