She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Phelps and Zula Williams Phelps; her husband Walter D. Cox, Jr.; and her brother Sherrill Phelps. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna J. (Dennis) and Traci L. Patrick (Tommy) of Collierville, TN; her stepson Kenneth W. Cox (Wanda) of Bowling Green, KY; her sister Delores Ard (Norman) of Somerset, KY; her grandchildren, Cynthia (Becky Buist) of Canon City, CO, Elizabeth Banks of Pueblo West, CO, Sarah Janik (Adam) of Castle Rock, CO and Kevin Cox of Lexington, KY; and her great grandchildren, Ellen Swierkosz (Michael), Alex Cox, Brianna Portteus and Lukas Janik.
Joanne Cox age 88 of Franklin, TN, formerly of Paris, died Thursday, November 7, 2024, at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence in Franklin.
