Joanne Berry Cohoon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Berry Cohoon of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis Berry and Lorene Wheatley Berry; her husband Gene Cohoon; and her siblings, Ione Berry Evans, Doris Berry Kozak, Imajane Berry, Olian Berry and Duane Berry.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Oles Berry of Burns, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jillian Casebeer of Bellingham and Jackson Casebeer of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and her siblings, Dean Berry (Delores) of Warren, Pennsylvania and Sandra Gus (Bill) of Chesterfield, Virgina. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed a long career in administration, including eight years in the Murray State University Foundation.
