She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Wiley T. Abernathy III; her son Wiley T. "Chip" Abernathy IV; her parents, Con Troutman and Velma Davis Troutman Sr.; her son-in-law Miles Hood; her brothers, Andy Troutman and Conrad E. Troutman Jr.; her parents-in-law, Wiley T. and Selma Abernathy Sr.; her daughters, Joanie Abernathy of Franklin and Sallie Hood of Pulaski; her grandchildren, Abby Pipkins (Chris), Lucie Holley, Josh Abernathy (Kristen), Allison Abernathy, Ashley Abernathy and Erin Abernathy; her daughter-in-law Leigh Ann Abernathy of Pulaski; and her siblings, Jane Troutman Fox (Jim) of Murfreesboro, TN and Jerry Troutman (JoAnn) of La Follette, TN. She was also cherished by 12 Great-grandchildren.
