She is survived by: her husband William Raymond "Bill" Hawkins; her daughters, Donna Hawkins Shapiro (Jim) and Jennifer Hawkins Duffey (Cliff); her grandchildren, Sara Sanders (Ian), Chris Shapiro (Christy), Matt Shapiro, Chase Duffey and Sutton Duffey; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Sanders, Finley Sanders, Oliver Shapiro and Nathan Shapiro.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Jo Anne's honor.
