He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Imogene Haskins; his grandparents, Rosebud and William Haskins; and his brother William "Bird" Deason. He is survived by: his daughters, Misty Montgomery (Michael Ray), Christy Wright (Brandon) and Michelle Haskins (Devin Newell); his grandchildren, Emma Montgomery (Parker Shouse), Abby Montgomery, Kyle Newell, Dalton Newell, Kortnie Newell and Carley Wright; his sister Terry Haskins; and his uncle Willard Haskins (Rita). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
