We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025, at the age of 77, Janie Lucille Alexander (Franklin, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janie Lucille may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her son William Alexander; her grandchildren, Zharia and Xandria Alexander; her sister Carolyn Pasley (Anthony); her son-in-law Jerrell Marable; her aunt Minnie Johnson; and her nieces and nephews, Yolanda Gaines, Mattie Alexander, Jeffery Starnes and Alex Pasley. She is also survived by cousins and many friends.
The lying in state was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (1408 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Connection Hill Primitive Baptist Church (2732 Thompson's Station Rd E, Thompson's Station, TN 37179).
