It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Carlyle East of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Harless East and Otley Dawson East; his brother Douglas Dawson East; his sister-in-law Agnes East; and his pet Patches.
He is survived by: his son Britt East; his brother Raymond Early East (Caroline); his niece Jennifer Raye East (Paul Busick); his great-nieces, Katie, Abby and Ellie; and also Vickie Kilgore.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Friends of Williamson County Animal Center.
