He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Williams and Carolyn Williams; his wife Elizabeth Childress Williams; and his son Bobby Smithson. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Jean Gunterman (Todd) of Brentwood, Mike Williams (Barbara Jean) of Rockvale, Ricky Smithson of Franklin, Jim Smithson (Sylvia) of Arrington, Shirley Warrick (Clifton) of Antioch and Betty Langley (JT) of Franklin; his daughter-in-law Bernice Smithson; and his brother Billy Williams (Linda). He is also survived by grandchildren and extended family and friends.
