With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila Mae Burris of Franklin, Tennessee, born in Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Price and Ester Helm Price; her husband Alvin Bernard Burris; her son Jeffrey Burris; and her siblings, Hazel Schminke, Virgil Price, Glenn Price, Lillian Crisman, Irene Geater and Richard Price.
She is survived by: her son Darrell Burris (Kathleen) of Chapel Hill, TN; and her granddaughters, Melissa Burris of Chapel Hill, TN and Danielle Burris of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
