She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bruce Buckner III and Mildred Hyde Buckner; her husband George William Vaughn; her brother Henry Bruce Buckner IV; her son George Michael Vaughn; and her grandson Chadwick Dean Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Avalyn Vaughn Davis and Julie Coke Abernathy; her sons-in-law, Randel Davis and Steve Abernathy; and her grandchildren, Aron Vaughn, Natalie Davis, Marlin Vaughn, Rachel Nicholson and Trey Coke. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
She was active in and supported The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, World Christian Broadcasting, Berry's Chapel Church of Christ, and disaster relief.
