She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wright and Nancy Lou Kennedy; her husband Cecil Douglas Pewitt; her granddaughter Tabatha Pewitt Black; and her sisters, Rosie Conley, Betty Sisk, Emma Pewitt and Rachael Brownfiel.
She is survived by: her sons, Harlan Pewitt (Tammy) and Edward Pewitt; her grandchildren, Denice Pewitt Wilson (Zac), Amanda Pewitt and Tatyana Pewitt; her great grandchildren, Trinity Pewitt, Kain Amos and Navaeh Wilson; and her sisters, Pauline Tucker, Annie Oliphant and Janice Brownfiel. She is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
