He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Carnes and Mary Susan Carnes; his wife Myra Carnes; his brother Earl William Carnes; his sister-in-law Rita Carnes; and his sister Pauline Carnes Allen.

He is survived by: his son Floyd Mark Carnes (Mary Ann); his nephew Jeff Carnes (Lynn); his nieces, Lisa Baker (Jerry) and Regina Sauls; and his pet Pepper.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or any local animal shelter of your choice.
