She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Ruel and Yvonne Ruel; her daughter Helen Gilbert; and her siblings, Pierre, Gaetan and Nicole.
She is survived by: her husband Benoit Gilbert; her children, Pierre Gilbert and Linda Bourke; her grandchildren, Gavin, Charlotte and Wesley; and her siblings, Lucie, Jacques, Madeleine, Yvon and Luc.
