With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Huggins of Franklin, Tennessee, born in Ragland, Alabama, who passed away on March 9, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fouts Barber and Grace Aldridge Evans Barber; her husband Horace Huggins; and her siblings, Aldridge Dubose, Sue Alexander, Bonnie Beasley, Naomi Alexander, Nellie Jean Smith and Paul Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Huggins (Jackie) of Athens, Lynn Huggins (Jane) of St. James, MO, Neal Huggins (Susan) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Gary Huggins (Mary) of Birmingham, AL and Jeannie Thomley (David) of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Thomley Foundation, an Italian ministry of the gospel at P. O. Box 1562, Brentwood, TN, 37024.
