He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thompson and Betty Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Glendra Chapman; his children, John David (Lori Smith), Tabiatha (Nate King) and Matthew (Keri Vaughn); his grandchildren, Eden Thompson, Ellie Gray Thompson, Emmeline Thompson, Thompson King, Peyton King, Allie King, Caroline King, William King, Carter Thompson and Tanner Thompson; and his brothers, Duane Thompson (Sherry) and Tim Thompson (Jennifer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
