He was predeceased by: his parents, Roswell "Roy" Gatchell and Florence Gatchell. He is survived by: his son Evan Gatchell (Sophie) of Ball Ground, GA; his grandson Roswell Gatchell; and his siblings, Doug Gatchell (Lynn) of Athens, GA and Lundy Nicholson (Pat) of Oak Ridge, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
