In loving memory of Daniel Richard Plattsmier Sr. of Franklin, Tennessee, born in Rayne, Louisiana, who departed this world on October 25, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Burke Plattsmier; and his brothers, Louis (Erma), Tony (Gloria), Bennett (Millie), Rodney (Dot) and Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Plattsmier, Jr. (Debbie) and Donna Vaughan (Craig); his sister-in-law Gloria Plattsmier; and his grandchildren, Dallas Plattsmier (Debbie), Dianna Betts (Steve), Brandy Thompson (Kyle), Rebecca Ballou (Jason), Andrew Perry (Ginger), Ben, Beau and Branden Vaughan. He is also survived by Nine great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Nolensville Cemetery (9636 Clovercroft Rd, Nolensville, TN 37135).
