He is survived by: his wife Robbie Dawson; his daughters, Grace Dawson and Kim Dawson Whetstone (Hal); his sister Elizabeth Ivey; his granddaughter Layla Scott Krog (Paul); his great grandchildren, Rita Mae, Mary Margaret, Mathilda Catherine, Paul Joseph, Jr. and Adelaide Julian Krog; and his siblings-in-law, Cherry and Jimmy Jackson.
