He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Atlas and Grace Manning Reed; his sisters, Jewel Reed Cooper, Ruby Reed Norris and Rosalea Reed Boone; and his son-in-law Brady Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Rummage Reed of Franklin, TN; his children, Greg Reed (Lisa), Christy Leigh Reed and Catharine Reed Gardner; and his grandchildren, Logan, Matthew Reed, Cason, Clint Blackwell, Ross (Ana), Grace and Lawson Gardner.
