She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy King and Hazel King; and her niece Kim Taylor Kennedy. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Walters and Melanie Fredrickson; her grandsons, Luke Fredrickson and Eric Fredrickson; her sister Linda Taylor; and her nephew Kirk Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Charles Stanley's InTouch ministry or Aveanna Hospice in Franklin, TN.
