It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carolyn Jean Babcock (Franklin, Tennessee), who passed away at the age of 85, on January 18, 2025. Though Carolyn Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Wesley Jones and Minnie Wawee Moore Caruthers; and her daughter Lorrie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Valley Baptist Church (1161 Lewisburg Pike, Franklin, TN 37064). A reception will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204).
For those wishing to donate in lieu of flowers, the LifeToday.org ministries "Mission Feeding" and "Water for Life" were very close to Carol's heart.
