It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanton Smith Jr. of Franklin, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanton, Sr. Smith and Margaret Smith; and his brother Morton Packard Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wray Smith; his daughters, Alison Smith and Ellen Smith Simpson (Jim); his sister Judy Tuttle (Stanton); and his pet JJ. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
