She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sherer and Etta Hogue Sherer; and her husband Tom Hunt. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Katharine Hunt of Nashville, TN and Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth Cunningham (Walter) of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Alexi Eidam of Knoxville, TN and Laine Eidam of Nashville, TN; and her sister Peggy McSwain.
