He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Moran and Margaret Moran; and his brothers, Bob Moran and Charles Moran. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Stone Moran; his daughters, Shannon Miller (John Miller), Margaret Patin (Larry Patin) and Ann Moran (Lynette Wright); and his grandchildren, Clara Miller, Justin Patin (Sarah Patin) and Sydney Patin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who loved Bill honor him by making a donation to Franklin's Law Enforcement Assistance Partnership, a local 501c3 that uses 100% of their proceeds to support the men and women of the Franklin Police Department, including providing financial assistance during the unexpected life events of its officers, purchasing additional needed equipment, and providing college scholarships to officers' children.
