She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Gaines and Louise Gaines; her husband David Houston Fowler; her grandson Tyler Smith; her sister Gena; and her brother-in-law Dick Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Smith (Sid) of Thompson's Station, TN and Lisa Fowler of Franklin, TN; her grandchildren, Cameron Smith (Justine), Drew Smith (Katy) and Chelsey McMahon (Kyle); and her brother Richard Gaines (Patti). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
