She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Higgs and Katherine Watson Higgs Reagan; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Tom McGee Shepherd (Ralph), Joyce Locke (Alan) and Barbara "Bobbie" Akin (Tim).

She is survived by: her husband Charles William Grimes.
