She was predeceased by: her parents, James Horace and Effie Masters Stewart; and her sister Frances Newby. She is survived by: her son Scott Allen (Victoria Wei); her granddaughter Layla Allen-Wei; her daughters, Karen Harris (Patrick) and Diane Allen; and her nephew Robert McClurkan (Bethany).
