She was predeceased by: her mother Dovie Emma Gates; and her aunts, Martha Gates and Betty Teicher. She is survived by: her daughter Madison Dara Ferguson; her father Bruce Ables (Sandra); her sister Dara Ables; her aunt Cornelia Gates; her nephew Douglass Duhamel; her friends, Tammy House and Mary Ann Summers; and her pet Peyton.
