It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Mae Bower of Franklin, Tennessee, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover C. Gardner and Anne Barnes Gardner; her husband Donald Bower; and her siblings, James Gardner, Anne Kistler, Ruth Grabowski and Ralph Gardner.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Moss of Westerville, OH.; her grandchild Allison Moss; her great grandchildren, Christian Martinez and Andrew Martinez; her granddaughter Meghan Francis (Craig); her great grandchildren, Joey Francis and Ryan Francis; her son Paul "Wes" Bower (Ana Wallace) of Bedford, TX; her grandson Matt Bower (Kylie); her great grandchild Trent Bower; her granddaughter Jennifer Bryant; her great grandchild Lexington Bryant (Grayson Tijerina); her daughter Amy Raley (Kevin) of Thompsons Station, TN; and her grandchildren, Alex Raley and Corinne Raley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Franklin First United Methodist Church-Historic Chapel (148 5th Ave S, Franklin, TN 37064). A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Arlene's honor to Franklin First United Methodist Church, 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin, TN 37069, or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
